Five Out Of Six Consumers Chose Mazda Over A Luxury Model
The experiment involved convincing the consumers that they would be driving luxury vehicles and asked to pick which one they preferred at the end of a test drive. What actually transpired was that they drove both a luxury model and a Mazda vehicle, with all identifying features concealed. When the consumers named their pick, it was revealed that five out of six consumers chose Mazda! Obviously, Mazda was overjoyed with the results of the consumer test. By airing the TV spots, Mazda hopes that consumers will come to the realization that they can have a comfortable ride in a Mazda at a much more affordable price.
