Mazda has made quite a name for itself in the automotive industry. One of the biggest ways they have done this is by keeping a creative eye each year. Innovation is always on Mazda’s list and with technology evolving at the rate it is, Mazda hasn’t left anything behind. It is constantly finding ways to add to the driving experience.

2017 is an exciting year because Mazda will be bringing us a new engine technology that does just that. This new technology is called SkyActiv technology and its main mission is to provide you a new sense of freedom, pleasure and confidence while driving. In order to provide you this, several changes have been made. For example, the body of the car has been redesigned to become more efficient–in shape and weight. The engines are more fuel-efficient than ever, and cleaner too. Performance is heightened as responsiveness is at its best while handling the steering wheel and brake pedal.

Gone are the feelings of uncertainty while driving an unpredictable or underperforming car. Cruise like never before, and at an affordable price.  Luxury is at your fingertips! SkyActiv technology really sets Mazda vehicles way above the bar–much higher than its competitors.

Is fuel economy important to you? All SkyActiv engines are designed to help you get the most out of your buck. Gas prices seem to get higher every week, but with Mazda you don’t have to sacrifice aesthetic for fuel efficiency. Mazda models remain attractive, but most importantly, they have stellar performance and more.

The Mazda3 is being hailed as a car that combines high performance with sensational looks. With the model selling fast, here’s a look at what the 2016 Mazda3 has to offer on the performance front.

Exciting handling with great fuel economy

The Mazda3 matches its pace with equally good fuel economy. Pegged as being both “fun and functional”, it delivers 40 miles to the gallon on the highway, with its 2.5 liter 184 horsepower engine.

Mazda’s cutting edge technology deliver performance

A revolutionary new technology from Mazda is changing the way people drive. Nearly all cars sold by Mazda now, come fitted with SKYACTIV TECHNOLOGY. The SKYACTIV-G engine delivers better performance and fuel efficiency with higher compression and greater power. The regenerative braking means that energy that would normally be wasted is recycled and used to help improve fuel efficiency. The SKYACTIV Chassis and the SKYACTIV body make up the new frame for the 2016 Mazda3. A lighter body allows for better handling and agility but without compromising on strength and stability.

Reviewers have said the car delivers on performance and handles well, while living up to its promise of great fuel economy. A sporty fuel-efficient drive, the Mazda3 is everything it is touted to be. Performance and Materials Used in KODO Cars

Wednesday, March 23rd, 2016

Mazda 3

KODO cars include the new Mazda3, CX-5, Mazda6, and CX-9. All the KODO (Soul of Motion) cars are constructed with quality materials and meticulous craftsmanship. The interior features leather-trimmed upholstery and scalloped seats, which provides for a rich look, and immense comfort. The perforated holes in the upholstery are spaced so precisely that it not only enriches the aesthetics of the cabin but also enhances the acoustics.

Mazda has used bioplastics for the construction of its KODO cars. The company has actually developed the world’s first bioplastics in collaboration with the Industry-Academia-Government. The bioplastics can be employed successfully in the production of vehicles. The advantage of using bioplastics is that it helps to lessen the utilization of fossil fuels. This process is carbon-neutral; so, the KODO cars are environmentally-friendly as well. Mazda also engineered the color Soul Red; when the company looked for a color to compliment the KODO design, they were not able to find it. Thus Soul Red was born through an advanced 3 step painting process. The 3-Layer Wet Paint System is something that Mazda developed themselves and it is the first technology in the whole world to lessen VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) and carbon dioxide emissions simultaneously.

The alloy wheels on the KODO cars not only look stunning but provide for improved handling and produce minimal vibration while also having good resistance to the external elements as well. The SKYACTIV technology helps to reduce fuel consumption and provides for greater performance. The iActiveSense technology provides for the safety of the KODO cars.

You can visit CardinaleWay Mazda Corona to check out the KODO cars.
