In a class crowded with affordable compact vehicles, Mazda did not hesitate to add its innovating steering to the CX-5. This excellent driveability really shoves the CX-5 in the spotlight. The luxurious feel you get is not expected in the small SUV class. Add to that an engine that’s fuel efficient, a sound insulated cabin, option of all-wheel drive and a fancy infotainment system.

The CX-5 also has Mazda’s exclusive SkyActiv 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that performs outstandingly and gives a great 35 mpg on the highway.

Mazda’s luxurious Grand Touring trim model has all the bells and whistles and still comes in at under $30,000. Here, you will get a 2.50liter four-cylinder engine at 184 horsepower.

Insight Into the Mazda 3 2.5L

Monday, August 8th, 2016

2016-Mazda-3-sedan_12_lg

The 2015 Mazda 3 is a capable hatchback and has earned the reputation of being a solid rival to the Ford Focus. The car even received the 10Best award from Car and Driver magazine. So, what makes this machine special?

Before we get to the special bits, one of the things that we need to discuss is the price tag. If there is one thing that’s got the Mazda 3 some bad publicity, it’s the pricing. Many feel that $28, 385 is just too much for a car like this.

However, in actuality, the price is fine. In fact, testers say it’s a steal for what the Mazda 3 can do. Of course, some Mazda 3s are better than others. If you were to spend money on one, the Grand Touring trim would be the one to go for.

Why? Well, it’s got the bigger engine, a 2.5 liter in-line 4 that puts out 184 horses and 185 pound-feet of torque. Things get even better when you consider the various features such as adaptive headlights, blind-spot monitors, heads-up display, rearview camera, touchscreen navigation, rain sensing wipers, and 18-inch aluminum wheels etc.

There’s also an infotainment system that can be controlled through a knob located in the middle of the front seats. If that’s not enough, you can get the Appearance Package for $1750, which will bring in add-ons such as sporty rockers and fascias and a rear spoiler.
