Buyers can get the 2021 Mazda CX-5 in six trim levels: Sport, Touring, Carbon Edition, Grand Touring, Grand Touring Reserve and Signature. The standard engine is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that puts out 187 hp and 186 lb-ft, mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. The Grand Touring Reserve and Signature are motivated by a turbocharged 2.5-liter engine that makes 250 hp and 320 lb-ft with premium gas and 227 hp and 310 lb-ft with regular. This engine is available in the Carbon Edition. There’s a choice between front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive.
The 2021 Mazda CX-5 gets excellent fuel economy. EPA-estimated fuel economy is rated up to 35 mpg city/31 mpg highway.*
The base CX-5 Sport model comes with automatic on/off headlights with automatic high beams, LED exterior lighting, keyless entry/ignition, rain-sensing wipers, cloth upholstery, sport front seats, 60/40 split/fold rear seats, and an electronic parking brake.
